WAKE UP you simple-mined sheep! Ordering his administration to stop ENFORCING THE EXISTING LAW---even if it's "discriminately"---is the SAME THING as "changing the law on his own". It amounts to "de facto" law, and another blanket amnesty that will only serve to motivate more illegal immigration.

Do you have a hearing problem or ADHD? He clearly states HE CANNOT UNILATERALLY CHANGE THE LAW. The existing law makes no exeptions to whether an illegal alien was brought here a child or any other circumstances. As the chief law enforcement officer in the U.S, his job is to enforce the EXISTING LAWS. It's baffling to what extent Obama apologists will sink to.

Existing immigration laws. His main job as chief executive is to enforce laws. HE CANNOT MAKE CHANGES TO EXISTING LAWS. That is left to Congress under Article I of the Constitution. By making exemptions, he has changed the law. It's really not that complicated. He's supposedly a Constitutional scholar, he knows these things. He just doesn't care.

The part about seperation of powers , for starters. The Legislative branch creates the laws, the Executive branch ENFORCES the laws created by Congress. . It doesn't get any simple than that. What part of "I cannot change laws unilaterally didn't you understand"?

Fox News played a deceptively edited clip from this interview, but the comments here prove it doesn't matter what the president actually said. He clearly says here that he can do what he did, which is prioritize enforcement, but the True Believers posting here babble on about changing the law and burning the constitution. I don't think they even bothered to watch the whole video, I think they stopped watching it where Fox News stopped it, like good little Foxbots.
