@EpicTrollBeastMan I actually decided not to join the military because I rather spend those years in college studying mathematics and philosophy, as opposed to learning how to systematically be a part of killing people. Just try to imagine a world with no "nancy boys" as you call them. What if the world were full of people who absolutely adore the military and think it is "real tough". Face it, society would become pretty primitive, full of freedom fries americans.

I'm in the army, and I don't get why people think the army lies to them? I mean I thought the video was funny, but the army keeps it's end of the bargain. The biggest thing I hear from people, is "oh my recruiter lied to me about this or that." So how is that the army's fault? If a salesman at a store lied to you, who would you blame? Besides, you can research anything a recruiter tells you and get second opinions.

This is so inaccurate. I was in the Army and everyone knows you're required to rescue and carry ATLEAST three babies at one time not two..Come on get your facts right.

@TheIrregularVerb joining the military & learning skills in aviation, communication tech, nuclear tech, radar, air traffic control, law/legal/JAG, vehicle/aircraft maintenance, or even operating sophisticated radio/satellite/thermal imaging as an INFANTRYMAN will get you a hell of a lot further in life than a philosophy major... pussy.

@TheIrregularVerb That's alright, the Military isn't for everyone, alot go for the experience, challenge, and sometimes education (medical, electronics, mechanical etc). The civilians are the reason there IS a military.

@Pathagarus Look I do believe that sometimes its okay to assist in protecting another country IF WE ARE WANTED, and obviously Hitler had to be handled, but we have never been in danger of "losing our freedom", except unless you count freedoms taken by our own gov't. The US was LOOKING for an excuse to enter almost every war we've ever been in, including WWII.  Because WAR=PROFIT. It is very sad that so many have given their lives trying to do right, when it was all based on selfish lies.
