How to beat Tubular (Super Mario World)

Super Mario World for the SNES is one of my all-time favorite games, but this level is just a fucking whore! So, unable to get it through the usual way, I started trying crazy stuff using a blue Yoshi to see if I could just fly through it and this is what I came up with. I'm not claiming I invented this, everyone probably already knows it, but I still think it's pretty cool =)

how/where do u get the blue yoshi?

@pain06161 You can get him at the water level on Star Road, can feed him with the Invincibility Star that drops at the very beginning and he'll grow up instantly, then get on him and exit the level (Start, Select). Easy ;)

Why do you need the blue Yoshi?

Cause it's the only Yoshi that can fly regardless of the color of shell he eats :)

i don't think i could do this level if my life depended on it......been trying for ages. It's ridiculous. Looked at a whole heap of youtube vids and I just can't do it lol.

LOL! It took me years to "master" this right here, and use quotation marks cause sometimes i cant pull it out at the first try, or sometimes i get hit and barely make it-- its not really hard, it's only hard using the balloons, tome :)

I have about 50 times on this level and I just can't do it, I have tried with Yoshi and without... I just can't do it!!!! Grrrr... I have a life, but I just can't seem to stop trying to do this until I win it, lol!!! Please tell me this is the hardest level in the game, because if the other 'special' levels are just as hard I may never leave the house again! I KNOW I was able to do this as a child... I just can't seem to now!

I remember how fucking cruel that extra world was overall and how pissed off it got me but I can't seem to remember this level. I probably blocked it out of my memory as soon as I beat it and never played that again.
