I think you can not due to the fact that you are not playing the PAL-version of the game. It seems not to be possible to play with people overseas :( - let's hope for PES2009 ;)

yes it is. And the graphics only look that good because the camera and codecs blur everything ;). Look at some screenshots of the PC version, the difference is quite huge. However, the controls are nothing but revolutionary and thus graphics do not matter that much, it's just too much fun!
