Thompson's Senate voting record may not be perfect, but it's closest to my way of thinking than any other candidate. I'd rather see Thompson spending campaign money in a rented pickup than Hillary touring in a Learjet. Thompson will be de facto "presidential material" if he's voted in as President. Show me a candidate who has NOT worked in the interests of "big business" and I'll sell you a bridge in NYC. Vote on issues, not how a candidate looks on TV.

Thompson had no authority to decide which clients the firm represented. Arent Fox was hired to provide guidance on questions regarding where the two men should be tried. John Culver sought advice from colleague Fred Thompson about these jurisdictional issues. Thompson billed 3.3 hours on the matter.
