The Canadian government are bunch of fucking hypocrites. They claim that those who may face unjust punishment in their own country are welcome here for sanctuary. You must have to be a Tamil Tiger or some other type of terrorist to get sanctuary here.

i think he belives that the war in Iraq is unjust thats why he refused. Im sure he knew what he was gonna face before joining the military, but as a soldier u gotta fight for the right cause-and everybody has their opinions about whats an unjust and justified war.

People don't join the military because they are "killers". But to join and to be "shocked" that you may be place in conflict is incredibly naive. I considered joining the military, and I understood what I may have to have face.

True, but some people don't figure out that they aren't killers until they are actually in a situation where they have to. Others want a damn good reason before they take a life. Iraq isn't a good enough reason for some.
