My father is second generation Italian, from Brooklyn, and my mother is Lithuanian/Hungarian, aka: "european". My family was & always has been poor, working class, and I am the first to work hard for a college education. In order to afford school I moved west, and am in the midst of watching affordable housing disappear here for many people, and I don't agree with it. The spirit of the neighborhoods are pushed out, and families of many generations, REGARDLESS OF RACE are also.

Nice work. Like the camera work, too. It is like the article in AM New York is a plant to start or fuel the gentrification in Bushwick. It would be a ripe area for all these developers feeding on New York right now.
