2nd Floor -- The Club - Gramophonedzie
We've featured some of the best house DJs in town, seen stellar performances by local musicians and vocalists, and now we're looking outside our boarders, as far away as Serbia, to entertain our guests at the next Opium Soul party.
On Friday 18th November, Opium Soul have invited one of the biggest breakthrough house-music artists of the last few years, Gramohponedzie, to grace the decks at Hyde. With massive hits like "Why Don't You" (sampled from Peggy Lee's Why Don't You Do Right?), and 8.5 million hits on Youtube later, he has continued his success story with strongly identifiable releases and remixes for house masters like DJ Sneak and Doman & Gooding.
This will be his first visit and performance to Hong Kong -- one which will leave great memories for local house music fans.
3rd Floor -- The Lounge - Jonathan Jay Lee Exhibit Grand Opening
From Opium Soul beginnings, Jonathan Jay Lee has been the creator of our brand's image. No doubt his illustrations have brought beauty and creativity to Opium Soul events. Now Opium Soul are proud to collaborate with him for the Jonathan Jay Lee exhibit at Hyde with the Grand Opening on Friday 18th November. This exhibit will run for one month at Hyde and shortly after the Grand Opening there will be a "meet the artist session" at Hyde on Tuesday 22nd November.
