I believe L Ron Hubbard was a closet homosexual rather than a homophobe who hoped he could hide his own urges and feelings by having "messenger girls" around him and writing this disgusting bigoted shit! He obviously hated women as shown in his horrific treatment of them... he is so fixated on gays... their has to be a history behind it for him to go to this extreme! Miscavige is the exact same way..maybe a pattern? Shameful in this day and age! 5/5!

the full story from the passage comes from Malachi 1: 2-3 vs 3 " "yet i have loved jacob but esau i have hated" etc.. hatred here is a covenant term used to contrast God's loyal love for Jacob who was chosen to be the instrument of redemtion. Esau and jacob were twin sons of isaac,. Only one of them could provide the family line through which the messiah would come. the point of this verse is primarily that God chose Jacob for that special role not Esau.
