BTW, what made me so curious about THIS is HC's equally superb (if not nearly so eclectic) arrangement of the same tune on 2003's HARRY 4 THE HOLIDAYS (my video 4 which - & 4 his NATURE BOY cover - I'm submitting as a response 2 this). In this version (perhaps since each artist could contribute but 1 tune), he throws in 'the kitchen sink' stylistically. In H4TH, he's content 2 let his eclecticism & versatility play out over the course of the entire album.

Ah; I'm a little slow on the uptake. I did an extensive search (IMDb, Google Books & GNA) trying 2 nail down the genesis of this CD & this SB version; all the while, the CBS logo's there 4 all 2C in the bottom right corner at the start. Turns out the TV special (shown on 12/6/99) was a co-production of Target & CBS, w/ Sony brought in 2 produce the soundtrack CD, 2B exclusively marketed by Target (partially explaining the obscurity of the CD - i.e. NOT on iTunes or Allmusic.com).

It proves that Harry C Jr. was a great creator as well as a musician, and he REALLY knew how to take a popular song that had been "copycatted" over and over and over...

...and bring it some TRUE STYLE!! Some true flair. Some actual pizazz and jazz. Thaaaaaaassss right. :)
