Napoleon's red roots music takes listeners on a wonderful journey...a soundscape of Indigenous heartbeats and rhythms blended with acoustic Americana. It is cross-cultural jamming that bridges musical worlds. Art Napoleon (aka Travelling Sun), a former Chief from the boreal foothills of Northeastern BC, is a recognized cultural educator and faith-keeper. He is also a talented singer-songwriter and humorist with an uncanny ability to improvise and meaningfully engage audiences of all ages and backgrounds. With influences that draw from country, roots-rock and Indigenous traditions, Napoleon is a riveting performer who shares powerful songs, down-to-earth wit and a trickster's charm. Whether he is telling a story or singing about a life experience, he manages to be both irreverent and deeply spiritual. Napoleon has been featured on many radio and TV programs including Zed TV, Dead Dog Comedy, CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Roundup, Cree for Kids, Beyond Words, The New Canoe and many others.
This is AWESOME! :)

I really enjoyed this video - more please! A way of life preserved in music ...bringing closer traditional values in a time that seems to be reeling out of control!
If you get a moment please check out a song I wrote(Land of the Cree) in Moosonnee a couple of years ago..
all the best
