There is no proof Bin laden is responsible of these attacks. In fact even the FBI hasn't charged him for the 9/11 attacks due to "lack of proof". Bin Laden himself denied his implication in these attacks 3 times to different news outlets the week after 9/11 (google : "CNN archives Bin Laden says he wasn't behind attacks").
Face it : Bin Laden isn't responsible. the US needed a boogeyman they could scare you with in order to attack all the countries they want. And it worked
