Director and parents must be protective of the emotions of child actors in movies with horrifying topics (this can be done, has happened in numerous European films). Perhaps most importantly, filmmakers must look with a very critical eye at how such a film can avoid being a turn-on for potential pedophiles. And could it trigger similar acts? I don't think burying the issue, not making films about it, is the right answer. But it has to be handled with enormous sensitivity and responsibility.

I think this comment ('bonebad'?) is very wise (I shortened it):

'Surely one of the original purposes of theatre was to reflect social behaviours... Dakota doing this role is giving a voice to all the 12 year olds out there that these disturbing yet very real things happen to.' It's a delicate balance, and it depends on the director - it's important that hidden stories have their truth revealed so that the stigma, the punishment, falls less on the victims.

thronetv one scene is all its takes to make the flick illegal child porn , if the actor of the movie is under age and even if its just simulated sexual contact aka sex then its illegal as hell in my state and somebody should be put on trial for promotion of it.

the spirit of this movie is to corrupt the courts and laws on simulated sexual acts of minors , if a 12 year old can act out a sexual act in this movie and hollywood then all movie producers can do the same just as long as its a simulted sexual act and not real aka "pretend", these assholes in hollywood are trying to open a can of worms and currupt laws . i wonder how much nambla paid for make this movie.
