I don't want to be "that guy", but Kiva doesn't give money to people without interest. They give it to people who give it people at interest who may or may not pay it back, but those middle men don't want to look bad so they give the money it back to Kiva. (which is why the payback rate is so high) It's still worth it to donate, but it's not Kiva giving at no interest.

When you make a loan on Kiva, you are not donating, you are lending. Lending institutions that partner with Kiva do make interest. The Kiva lender does not (that’s your donation). It costs the lending institution time (read “Money”) to go out into the bush to collect repayments from borrowers that don’t have mail, checking, transportation, or money order services.
