@moe354sa so what? malkmus stole a riff or 2 when he was a 20 yr old college radio stoner. listen to anything from crooked rain or beyond and tell me he doesnt have his own style. listen to his solo stuff. none of it sounds like the fall. and listen to The Gift by the Velvet Underground and tell me where mark e smith got his whole style from. I love the Fall, Pavement and VU. No need to hate on one or the other.

@Unicornioazul200: Get either This Nation's Saving Grace or Bend Sinister (albums) I'd say, then The Wonderful and Frightening World of... and Hex Enduction Hour. Grotesque (After the Gramme) is my personal favorite.

@moe354sa: What song are you talking about in particular? I'm a big Pavement fan too so I probably know what song you're talking about, I just can't think of it right now. I also noticed that Conduit For Sale! is a very blatant copy of New Face in Hell.

Got it the first time. Fucking awesome song. It's called "Mansion" because that is a horror-looking word for a horror-sounding song. Simple as that.
