  • Laura, I had tried a few recipes for Linguini and Clams...but I tried it your way and my wife loves it, and thinks it by far the best way. Well, since I scored a big with the Linguini and Clams, my wife is going to try your Pumpkin Bread recipe (she figures if I can follow your instructions, than ANYONE can do it). Thanks for helping make great cooks out of mere Mortals.

  • Laura! I absolutely love your recipes and I'm in no way challenging your cooking superiority with this comment. But after making this bread several times I highly recommend that you guys add in more pumpkin puree and that you decrease the amount of sugar. This way the bread is way more pumpkin-ey and less overwhelmingly sugary. And also try letting the mix sit for about 10 minutes before putting it in the oven to make it more fluffy. Lastly balance the fluff by adding a cup of almondsThanks!
