Sorry but it is stone stock. What is so hard to believe that the old Hayabusas can do over 180mph? Idon't get it with the people on YouTube.....either stupid or wait for it.......stupid.

I love the Busa, test drove one and can say your video is right on. I had it up to 175 in 4th gear. I knew that if I bought it I would be dead by now. Great video keep them coming.

A few years ago I was new to big bikes and I was riding a borrowed VF750F. Interceptor to those in the states. my friend let me have a go of his 99 Busa and I was scared of it. down a sliproad onto a motorway and I only opened it up in 3rd, short shifted to 4th then 5th. Saw about 164 is the image I have in my mind. Been faster on my 9r now and I regret not seeing what a Busa can really do coz I never revved it hard. My friends ask me what they're like and I go "dunno". Gutted :(

@bmxin4lfe - Based on transmission gearing as well as the stock sprockets, the Hayabusa can reach 184mph in 5th gear......

@illf8ted - I never said he reached 184mph in 5th. Based on gearing and perfect conditions, it is possible that it can be reached. I've been to the Texas mile twice now and see what it takes to reach certain speeds in just a mile. All of these riders have been faster on longer roads such as the one we used.
