RC Sproul The Curse Motif

This is excellent. I was shocked at the beginning. I really wondered about the editing and where it was going, but in the end the message was crystal clear.

Praise be to God, Who was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, and has committed to us the Word of reconciliation - the message that God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life! Apart from Him the wrath of God abides on us all.

I dont like the fact that RC Sproul beleives that people have been created for buring in Hell.. according to calvinism.. my Bible says "who so ever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!!!"

Where did Sproul say that in this video? He was showing that we are cursed, yes, without the saving grace of Christ that He became cursed for us, we will be damned in hell. But we were not created purposefully to be destined to hell, but to glorify God on High.

nooo not in this video.. but he has made that clear that he beleives in predestination many times in his messages.. he does beleive that certain people were chosen for Heaven, and the rest were created to be condenmed to hell....

...What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory--even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?"

I'm just curious, how do you interpret this passage in Romans 9: 19-24?: "One of you will say to me: 'Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?' But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? 'Shall what nis formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make like this?' Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?

however i do believe a select few fulfill a select role .. like antichrist so on. but they are FEW and exceptional..

divide 1 by 3 and you get 3 numbers that continue for eternity. some thing we can not conceive unless we add to or change one of the numbers. God is eternal, the very concept is beyond our ability to grasp.

RC Sproul is a partial preterist. I don't know what all that means - but - Im a pan millenialist, I believe everything will pan out in the end of the world.
