Troy Ross For Jackson County Supervisor

Troy is a life-long resident of West Jackson County. After graduating with a degree in Political Science from the University of Mississippi, he was commissioned in the MS Army National Guard. During his year's deployment in Iraq, Troy served as Scout Platoon leader. Upon returning home he was promoted to Captain and took command of Delta Company.

While in Iraq Troy helped train Iraqi soldiers and establish military and public safety departments in the new Iraqi government. He worked to bring two warring factions together to discuss the direction of their country. Upon leaving Iraq the local government was in place, had conducted free and fair elections, and had put in place a military and public safety department that was able to govern the province of Najaf independently.

Troy and his wife Lauren have two children, Sophie and Joseph. They are members of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Troy has also served as chairman of the Jackson County Republican Party. Currently, he is Alderman-At-Large in Ocean Springs.

As Alderman, Troy has voted to reduce Ocean Springs' property taxes and worked with the board to reduce the size of the city budget. Troy believes his record speaks for itself. As a small business owner, he understands the dedication needed to be successful. If you want a Supervisor who will listen to your issues and return your calls the choice is clear. Troy will be a voice for ALL of West Jackson County.
