I fell in love with Beverly at a Christmas dance when I was 17, as the band played this song. Sadly she did not feel the same way. But for the next 50 years, every time I hear the Chimes sing it, I think of her !

I was very much in love with my High School sweet heart Gail. We were a year apart, when I went into the service and off to Vietnam we lost each other. I found her again after all these years about 5 years ago, we gotten together twice since then, and guess what, I still love her! But, the years have moved us in different directions! You don't need to "sell me" on this song, and this kind of music, it's fantastic. Thanks for posting. Makes a guy want to maybe fall in love with some sweet thing all over again, and back up about 50 years!!!
