  • Is this the same thing as dividing 7 into 12.50?

  • If you divide 7 into 12.50 you will get a different result. It's probably best to follow all the steps shown in the video.

  • if you don't like algebra, you can avoid the proportion by saying that 10 min is 1/6 of an hour. so 3 km / 1/6 hr. multiply top and bottom of fraction by 6 and you get 18 km/h
