I am not sure what your getting at here..but you never gave any response to mine which was Violators could incur one or more reprimands under the school's Liberty Way conduct code, and anyone who accumulates 30 reprimands is subject to expulsion. So they can't even hold meetings on campus or advertise...If this is conservative christian freedom I wan't no part of it.

  • Do you also find it interesting that the school's motto is "Knowledge Aflame" and that the book on the school seal is the Bible? I'm sure that is not nearly as interesting. The Bible is the source of Liberty's foundation and the mission of the university is for the students to be a light for Christ in the world. It is amazing how a school is being attacked for taking a stand for protecting life and marriage.

  • The school told the group that the club must stop using the university's name, holding meetings on campus, or advertising events. Violators could incur one or more reprimands under the school's Liberty Way conduct code, and anyone who accumulates 30 reprimands is subject to expulsion.

Thats more than not lending their name or financial support, they can't even hold meetings on campus or advertise...If this is conservative christian freedom I wan't no part of it.

  • First of all Liberty is a private university and has the authority to regulate which groups are permitted at the university and which ones are not. Liberty didn't say that you can not have free speech or express your political point of view, the university merely said that it will not lend its name or financially support a group that is in contradiction to the university's mission and vision as a Christian university. It is nice to see an institution that stands for something.

  • What is it with liberals always wanting Conservative people dead? Jerry Falwell was a good man. Hitler has much more in common with Hussein Obama than with Rev. Falwell-hands down no contest.

  • The repubs are the same as fascists! Jerry Falwell was worse than Adolph Hitler. Glad they're both dead!!!!

  • Its kinda sad..you seem as if you believe in the American way but maybe its the American my way or no way...Hope thats not the case.

  • A school who threats a group for its political views thats communism. If you think other schools should follow this type of action (supress freedom of speech) by telling people they can't have their own opinions you are practicing communism. I would never support any school public or private that says you have to think our way or leave.

  • I think they took a good stance and it would be nice to see other colleges like say maybe....Notre Dame..follow suit. The democrat party is now pretty much the same thing as the communist party so I have to agree with Liberty on this one.

  • Perhaps you would like to do that for me? if you wish to analyze the school's name that is your time spent...not mine. I know what Liberty is as well as freedom as defined in our Constitution. If you want to debate that I suggest a new thread topic.
