Gran Turismo 5 - XP Grind / Farm

This is better done from Lv.24 until Lv.28, after that, the Indi 500 is the better place to grind until Lv.40.

So, are you worried and mad for the amount of money you need in GT5? After all, you have to buy a Stock German Car, a Formula GT and a LMP, and only those are worth more than 10 million!

Well, don't start hating the game yet, because the amount of Experience points needed to finish this game is 100x worse to get!

Do you have a chair near you to sit down? Here it goes: you'll need about 35 million points to reach Lv.40, and thats A-Spec only!!! Using the method on the video (which is very good) will net you 9819 XP in a 6m30s race. Thats about 1510 XP points per minute (without the loading) so you will spend about 375 hours of pure play time to reach that level... O_O

For this method you'll need:
-Formula GT car. You can buy one at the used dealer for 4.8 million Cr. It's very rare so use the "License Trick" to speed up things. You'll have to buy it anyway for the FGT Championship.

The setup for the car IN THIS RACE ONLY is:
-ZERO downforce both front and rear. This thing is 550kg only, you can slalon on corners at 370KPH, there is no need for downforce.
-Gear Ratio at 410KPH, from my tests this is the best ratio, you can put 460 if you want (and reach 430 while drafting) but most of the time you'll be alone so it's best a lower ratio to gain speed at turns.
-NO ASSISTS AT ALL, no need to break, slow or anything, just drive as close as possible in the inner line.

Alternative:
-You can do the exact same thing with the Toyota Minolta (Very cheap prize car for "Like the Wind Series"), you'll be just a couple of seconds slower (due to 300kg more weight) but can be done anyways, just put MAX Downforce and a ratio of 420 (it have 100 more BHP than the FGT).

What you get:
- About 70K Cr., but thats hardly any good, you'll buy almost everything you want in the game before you reach Lv.40 anyways.
- Like said before, 9819XP per 6m30s race, so you'll need LOADS OF PATIENCE.

Hey does anyone know if GT5 made a boost for XP? I'm doing that race (shown in the video) and I'm getting 32,232k XP not 9,819 anymore. o.o

@Tranzorr Yes. The setup in the video was done on the "clean" version o GT5, nowdays they've done lots of patches, plus XP, plus money, lower timers... So yes, the farming method is probably outdated by now.

Fail, I get 40k every 4 mins, plus 500,000 credits.. And all u need is a tuned 458.. Special events, the Ferrari one, circuit de la sarthe, cut over the sand in the chicanes without slowing down, u should come out in front of the Enzo.. U can also cut through the very last corner in case he passes u..

Better get at it before it's gone/updated to nullify the limited time tripling of money and XP.
