  • Have that same guitar. Love it. Every time I play it I want to hop in a 57 Bel Air, head down to the drug store and get a soda pop. But then reality sets in and I realize that I don't live in the 50s. I get mad and then don't play the Gretsch for a week. And the cycle repeats...

  • describe your model gretsch please? pick up types, woods, year,,thanks, cool demo

  • your right Shaun, its all in those fingers.I have seen Paul Pigat switch from one guitar to another and they allways sound like him.He played a gigar box guitar and made it sound like a gibson 175.Hands,hands,hands.

  • Absolutely right about keeping your setup basic, the RE20 is great to complement that sound along with a nice tube amp :-)

Great playing and sound, love all your video's!

    Cheers Patrick

  • how much compressor ?

  • Yeah! A Gretsch with a tube amp. . . you are right up my ally! 5*s

I have a "line 6 POD" that I like to use too. I'm glad you recommended the pedals. I'll check into them.
