  • @VSPVIDEO I think there probably about the same weight. I was sore at first for sure. If I don't use it awhile then use it for 20 mins or so I am pretty tired.

  • @g3mccotter you're damn right I am - lol...Do you have the same "problem" with glidecam, coz I don't have that impression. I see a lot of videographers working with glidecam. Is it lighter than my flycam

  • @VSPVIDEO Yeah vest. I see. So it looks like your gonna be getting stronger than you planned. ha

  • @g3mccotter what's a pod ? you mean vest ? sorry, english is not my mother tongue so i need to ask... well, i'll tell you this much - i ain't going back to the vest...certainly not to the flycam 600 vest...i read that it needs some configuration done because the wires in the arm are too stiff so i need to buy the new ones, yadda-yadda...and the arm is not practical in narrow places, or on the dance floor.i will train without it and hopefully i'll get better at it

  • @VSPVIDEO haha. Yeah again for your first time without that body pod it looks good. Definitely some strength to be built for it. Stairs doesn't seem any hard to me then walking around or running. Do you think now that you are figuring out how to use it without the pod when you go back to wearing it you will be better?

  • @g3mccotteryeah, low shots are filmed upside down... i might have accidentally twisted my fingers, but since it was the first time i was doing it, i'm still searching the best tehnique...flycam has a really difficult, how do you call it, hafte/handle so it's kinda awkward fliming with it...plus upstairs/downstairs shots are nearly impossible for me but i hope i will be able to do it in time ...my wrist was falling apart man....

  • @VSPVIDEO It looks good man, very smooth shots. I find the hardest part of using a steadicam is keeping the horizontal balance of it. Are the low shots filmed upside down? I don't know your technique but I find if I am doing a shot where I am passing the subject its best if I just turn instead of rotating the steadicam. Some of yours like that looked like you might have been just twisting your fingers to point at the subject which doesn't always come out as smooth it seems.

  • @g3mccotter ...i uploaded the video i made with glidecam and mostly dslr..i say mostly because not all shots are with it... it's called DUBROVNIK WEDDING VIDEO by VSP VIDEO and it's the last video uploaded on my channel...if you wanna watch i'd be honoured...mind you that was the first time i used flycam without a vest and it's really difficult/awkward to manipulate with it without a vest
