Growing Great Coralline Algae

http://www.ipsf.com We show how dry base rock made from aragonite sand can be turned into colorful live rock covered with pink, red and purple coralline algae.

In the new reef tank this is accomplished by adding Coralline Algae Booster from Indo-Pacific Sea Farms.

Spores from the coralline booster plates spread throughout the main tank and refugium, settling on the base rock as well as the walls of the tank.

The coralline booster plates can also be placed in a hang-on-the-back (HOB) filter box where they will experience rapid current flow.

Please use only captive-bred organisms in your reef aquarium.

Thanks for posting your videos, I'd love to go down to the US to see the business, but do you know of any Canadian places that have Coralline algae for sale too? Although I suppose I could ask my local marine fish store.

So the shops are selling man made rocks for £50 each. it only cost £5 for some cement. the robbing gits!
