  • we tend to see a common occurrence for a trade to be focused on their particular skill and be ignorant of the ramifications on other trades / systems

  • Quick Turn Bracket...............Thanks

  • it is amazing how many times you see this when looking for it

  • Try the door at least to show if it opened or not or are we just picking apart someones work ? i would like to see what a not properly installed door does when opened pff

  • this door did operate / open, problem is the sensing eyes will not prevent door closing on a child or pet, in addition since door was missing the top plate, if door hits something the top connection will pop loose

  • @Lotum4n

the door works, it opens and closes, it is just that if it hits something the door / mounting bracket will get damaged / bent out of place

  • I was brought up to never touch the big garage doors. If they slipped of track i'd be hurt bad. I thank my dad for that. My kid will use the man door if he needs to exit the garage. I don't have a button in the house, or a button in the garage. I keep the opener high up so only i can reach it,and my wife(barely).

  • I put my photo cells on top of the opener facing each other. I walk under the door as a close it all the time. Lazy? yes. Will i have to walk back up my driveway because my door won't stay down because my photo cell is off a weeeee bit? never. I sat on my hands and knees and let the door bounce off my back. With very little pressure, it went back up.Same for extension cords, tools. If you're worried about your kids, where are they? Kids should NEVER be in a garage.keep their bikes in a shed.

  • Speak faster and document faster and watch your tone of voice. You are taking this personally. The reason I say this is because we need to see what type of VERY UNSAFE things are being done. You focused on the sensors for a LONG time and never mentioned that this CAN KILL someone. Make more inspection videos just make without sounding like your gonna track em down... (Then track em down...) lol

  • If the owner was the one to install the garage system then why your ass video taping the name if your company hmmm perhaps you was the one who installed it and perhaps this your own home please give me break you fucking goonie ripoff asshole get life you low life looser

  • i have this freaking problems cause my ceiling of my garage door very low and im looking how to put it

  • The opener was a craftsman, which means the customer (homeowner) purchased it themselves and I would venture to say installed it as well, so I wouldn't be too quick to blame a professional, next thing focused on was the sticker which is of no relevance other than to sell a custom bracket, what you should have focused on was the fact that the homeowner notched two of his rafters or beams in the garage.....that is the single biggest no-no in the video!!!! Eye-beams being the second.

  • @chicagolandhobby they do. sears just dont tell people that.

  • they notched the ceiling joist so they can beat the clearence. hence the quick close fixtures instead of low headroom track.

  • Amazing cut the beams in half to install garage door

then the house fall down. LOL.

    What are they thinking?
