Yeah, yeah, yeah. With a super race car driver on a super track on a perfect day.

What does it clock at a regular track with regular drivers?

We wanted to find out.


We gathered five nearly identical GTR's and started the fastest guys at the back of the pack and figured this would make for some good racing.

Boy, were we right.

No one had a clear advantage. The cars were on very level playing ground, right down to the tires. The fastest driver had the most-stock car. The newest driver had the most modded car. Who would reign supreme? Find out.

@sirlonghair your wrong again you keep assuming that id compare a 09 gtr to a 2010 zr1 which isn't to crazy but not a comparison the new spec-v has reached a top speed of 211mpg and has lapped the nurburgring at 7:20. not for nothing even with zr1's launch control gee wonder why they did that but anyways with it it still cannot put the power to the floor and while your spinning the spec v has hit 3rd gear and gone so no it cannot outrun a gtr spec v

@steven4rmnewyork I just told you the vet makes 205mph 20+ seconds faster than a gt-R can make 195mph that means it can out accelerate a gt-R,yes?

@sirlonghair from a complete standstill there arent many vehicles on the road that can beat a gtr in straight line acceleration. ofcourse theres porsches out there that can do this due to weight differences but in the "real light" the car is complete sports car ppl have this bad assumptions from the movie fast and the furious that its a toy car not real, but i argue that it is the most tech. advanced vehicle out there right now, with just the options it gives you i think its best bargain

@steven4rmnewyork the spec-v is 80 grand more than a gt-R the Veryon is a clown car unusable in the real world what is this true horsepower measurement you speak of and a vet can out run a Veryon if you put it in the vets race I could beat a Veryon with a VW bug in a cross country race your pulling over every 15 min for tires and every 10 min. for gas I'd replace the back seat with a gas tank and never pull over buy American and get quality buy Japanese get had

@sirlonghair no where near 80 grand, your just trying to exaggerate your point and its ridiculous. there is no comparison nissan put an extra 100 hp in the spec-v. theres upgrades upwards to 15 thousand that can up the hp to around 850. unlike the over priced zr1 that only has 606 true hp when it ever gets the power to the ground. with the 15 thousand dollar upgrade the car capabilities are endless. theres videos of it outrunning a veyron two runs in s a row. zr1 cannot do this
