dunkin donuts is for poor, fat, and lacking of taste Americans. coming from someone who is actually american, i can not stress that enough. just pay the extra dollar to consume something that does not taste like sewage. living in a country where over half of the people are retards (no exaggeration), it does not shock me that dunkin is way more popular.

Dunkin Donuts has better coffee. However sometimes I like the frappucinnos from Starbucks, they come in some awesome flavors that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Dunkin Donuts only frozen blended drink is a coffee coolata, and even that doesn't have real coffee in it. just coffee flavor. If i want a cup of coffee, i go to dunkin. If i want a sweet blended coffee drink, starbucks.

They each have their own different taste. We don't have Dunkin Donuts here in California so of course my preference is Starbucks :) but whenever I'm in the East coast for sure ill grab a cup of coffee at DD cuz they have good coffee, its not as strong as Starbucks but heck that's why its different and that's why its also good :)

@richterscale09 I'm not denying Starbucks targets other local coffee houses, but what ends up happening is that independently owned coffee shops actually benefit much more from a Starbucks opening next door. Their sales increase because people who go to Starbucks start to wonder what the coffee shop across the street has to offer. Let's not forget the fact that Starbucks still can't provide the level of intimacy with the staff independent coffee shops provide.
Really they want to beat the competition? No fucking duh, they're a corporation like GAP or Walmart they all do the same thing! too expensive, 10 dollar bill, huh? it's 2.10 for a fucking coffee give me a break! STARBUCKS FOREVER!

My Responses:
1:58 "Vente... and stuff like that." Red neck alert!!!
2:50 "it doesn't taste great... kind of burned". she is probably happy with a cup of under-roasted or instant coffee from Folgers... obviously she knows nothing about coffee brewing
3:08 "their corporate policy involves specifically targeting local coffee houses or other type of businesses that tend to compete with them,,," errrr... if it weren't for Starbucks, these 'local coffee houses' would not even be in business.
