English Expression: Hang On...

hang on - to suspend something; to hold something (for safety); wait
hang up - to end a phone call
hangout - to spend time together (doing nothing too special)
hang it up - to end (stop)
hang in there - keep working hard; don't give up
hang a left/right - turn left/right
hang around - to stay someplace
hangover - sickness caused by drinking too much alcohol
