@pistache7 Speak for yourself. I wasn't nor was anyone related to me. My family came through Ellis Island. And you have some interesting ideas about the concept of "illegal alien." It is hardly "only a paper term." It is a concrete reality with a whole series of consequences in the real world that exist far beyond the margins of something written in a state or federal code. Just ask anyone who has undergone deportation proceedings.

But, i do agree with you on this subject.Even immigrants should not force their way into a new society or culture or nation without first understanding the politics, language and laws of their newfound region, to successfully reside, work and socially integregate into our towns and cities.

Would you expect them in locations infested with third world intruders, like Canoga Park, the Antelope Valley, National City and Maywood? The reason I ask is because we've had them there, too.
