  • By the way, those Charge, Block, Longshot and Times Up logos, the scorekeeping, the flashing "$25,000", the credits and everything? NICE TOUCH!

  • i know it's fun to play with free editing software you get with your capture device, but, really, all that superimposed text is pretty obnoxious and unnecessary.. :p

  • Sorry, my bad, upon further review, it was replaced by "Alice" reruns, then came "Child's Play" until 1983, then came "Press Your Luck."

  • Level 3, $10: Shouldn't that read "accordion"?

  • Randy did rather well against the gauntlet of villains. It looks like he didn't need that extra 11 seconds he was given. What a show.

  • Whose idea was it to sound a car crash for a Longshot? LOL

5:56 Apparently Alphonse OD'd on the Chicken Cacciatore before the show...

8:20 And by "easy," you mean slow, right Dr. Deranged?

  • Is WHEW! THE ONLY GAME SHOW WITH A SPORTSTYPE CLOCK font?

  • Alan Thicke made it, but hasnt released it.

  • $25,000 in 1979 is worth $73,215.92 in 2008 due to inflation.

    $25,000 in 2008 buys what $7,946.89 did in 1979.

  • The tie breaking round is usually exciting since all strategies have been exposedand you have to possibly shift them. Randy still played constant and being one step ahead of Pat. He also did a great job at taking down those villian's, something not done very often as I know. It's a straight forward bonus round that us youtubers will watch and know that this feels like a posthumous release because Randy never got to see it. He was a 5 stars contestnat with a 5 star game. RIP 7 years later.

  • is a clean version of the theme available anywhere?

  • One of the all-time cult game show classics!
