  • That's it. That's Careless love.

    Love Leadbelly.

  • It's just Amazing to listen to talent that brought folk music to our attention, they are the pioneers to country music.

  • @daveyanna heh, we are dead opposite. Elvis should have stuck to gospels and country, that's all he was good at. Well that and novelty tunes. But that's just me.

  • Oh my god man, it is so beautiful. I have chills. It's so wonderful to just listen to him talk, it sounds like he's in the room with me. Like right now, I'm exactly where they are, laughing and talking along. Amazing.

  • "They call it careless love. In my estimation--which I tell people, and I think it's very right--if you're loving somebody that ain't care nothing about you, well that's love you can throw in the East River, cause it's no good. But when you love somebody and they love you, and you get 'em together, well it ain't no stormy weather--you got real true love there. But this is careless love, you done throw it away, see. And the way we do it y'know, here it go."

  • um. I can see where Elvis got his style from ... course .. Elvis I prefer to these old blues songs. You see .. problem with 'em is they're a bit "droaney" know what I mean. I mean they jost go on and on. But the basis of them is real good and musical. See what Elvis did .. was take this kinda music .. sprinkle it with pixie dust and ... well you 'all know whut I'm sayin' ....

  • Incredible listening to him talk! I used to have a little trouble understanding him-like 15 years ago when I first started listening to him- but now I have no trouble understanding his dialect anymore-
