Abraham: THE ASTONISHING POWER OF EMOTIONS - Esther & Jerry Hicks

"The Astonishing Power of Emotions: Let Your Feelings Be Your Guide" is the title of the newest addition to The Teachings of Abraham from Esther and Jerry Hicks. Published by Hay House, it is available wherever books are sold, and also at our website.

Esther & Jerry Hicks are the authors of numerous books based on the Teachings of Abraham and their latest book, "Money and The Law of Attraction", reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.

For over 20 years, Esther has translated blocks of thought from "Non-Physical Source Energy" - which she also identifies as her "Inner Being" or "Soul" - and who refer to themselves in the plural as "Abraham" (no relation to the Biblical figure).

very different... I'm not trying to offend but seems far fetched that one can be many unless you've lost touch with the physical.

@senthious Esther says that Abraham is her translation of the Non-Physical Source Energy within her, in other words her own Soul. She interprets this Energy in the plural as a reflection of Abraham's understanding of the true nature of Source.

Rather, she has explained that she is aligning with the Unlimited Non-Physical Source Energy that is in all of us, and is using her own vocabulary to translate blocks of thought from an aspect of this Source Energy - which she has identified as her Soul.

I am so hooked on the messages of Abraham-Hicks. But unlike the numbing effects of other addictions, the 'high' I get from listening increases each with each of their messages. My body can barely handle the degree of joy I am filled with by the energy of her words. (which is the actual message-of which the words are just a vehicle of transmission)

It seems ironic that with us being such emotionally driven beings that we still are able to forget the impact, significance and potential of these emotions to deliver on positive expectations. It's like telling a child that it's much better to be happy than sad - they can see the obvious sense in what you say but then drop immediately into their habitual behaviour as soon as a negative opportunity presents itself.

Considering the power that positivity has - it's surprising we still forget.
