In this video and article I demonstrate a technique for building a fire structure that will burn continuously and does not require ANY managing. This is a great method to know if you need the heat from a fire while you are sleeping, but do not want to wake up repeatedly during the night to add more wood.

I cant believe how many stupid people took the time to comment with such ignorance. Of course you use bigger logs for a longer fire, put rocks around it, and clear the leaves, BUT ITS A DEMO RETARDS!

I have to agree with the rest,10 seconds into this I was thinking,"he's going to burn down the whole forest" .........Really dude, you need to go back and add something to the affect of clearing the ground around you.

Please, please, please clear your fire area properly. 8-10 feet in diameter, down to dirt. Replace the cover before you leave.

I'm kinda bothered that you don't mention to CLEAR THINGS from the area. You're setting a fire surrounded by dead leaves. That set up, no matter what kind of fire, you're gonna set the forest on fire. Yes it's a demo but fire safety is important
