@mercycollege123 Boong used to be the racist term for aboriginies when I was a kid...They did change the name of Blackboy Trees to Grass Trees....

Well i must live a very sheltered life or simply in an area where the coon term is never used in relation to race. At lest not in my hearing. I am of mixed European decent by they way.

@AdstarAPAD I've heard heaps of people say coon as a racist term in canberra and nsw. Coon boots springs to mind, for when your barefoot. Or the aboriginal people originally in the canberra area being the ngunnawal people, ngunnawal nikes gets used here.
