Hello Twin Cities! We're here in front of the Bymore Supermercado, on 857 Payne Avenue, and we're going to do a little tour of the store today. So, come on inside with me.
Here we are inside the Bymore Supermercado. This store was started over 10 years ago, with the goal of bringing you authentic Mexican cuisine. And the owners of this store do know authentic cuisine, having lived on a farm in Mexico. They know their products, they know what fresh is. And the goal of the store is to bring you fresh cuisine at a reasonable price.
We're starting our tour here in the spice aisle, which is personally one of my favorite parts of the store. They have everything here, they really do... From pulverized shrimp to chilies of all different sizes and flavors, to pulverized garlic to oregano, eucalyptus leaves. Anything and everything that you could get in a store and all for a reasonable price, that the Bymore is so proud of.
And the spices just keep going. Here we have cinnamon, more lovely peppers, all the spices that you could possibly need for your authentic Mexican meal.
Here we have all the products you could need for your perfect party. We have pinatas, and haritos, and snacks. Anything and everything that you could want for your authentic Mexican party. And what's a pinata without your candy? Here we have every type of authentic Mexican candy that you can think of from zumbaleta, to rocoleta, sweet candy, spicy candy, your traditional M and M's. All the good stuff to fill your pinata.
Here we are at the money order station at the Bymore. Here you can get all your money orders sent, you can get lottery tickets, you can get airline tickets. All sorts of things to help your personal finances, right here in the store.
Bymore is dedicated to giving you all the quantity and quality of things you can need. And if you don't see something here, it can always be specially ordered just for you.
And here we see even more of the store and just to give you an idea of all the products that are offered.
And the tour continues here in the meat and deli section of the Supermercado where we have all sorts of different cuts of meats and you can cut, they can custom make them just for you.
Here we are in the dairy section of the Bymore Supermercado. And the owners bring in all their cheese from local farms so that its fresh and ready for your enjoyment right here.
And this is my favorite personally, the Asteca ice cream treats. They're so delicious, you have to come down just to try one of these.
And now here we are at the other side of the Bymore store. As you can see there are plenty of dried goods, tortillas, flours, everything for your cooking and baking needs.
The produce section, the fruits and vegetables, is the pride and joy of the Bymore Supermercado. They take pride in having the freshest fruits and vegetables from the largest variety that you can find, straight from Mexico here in the grocery store. We have everything from papaya to mangoes to coconuts, tomatoes, all fresh, straight off the truck, and in the store for your consumption.
As you can see its pretty busy here in the produce section. People getting their bananas, onions, pineapple. They know quality when they see it! So that's why the Bymore keeps busy.
And the tour continues with the Bymore deli, where you can get your fresh cheeses and meats cut to order. The meats can be any cut, shape that you'd like, any quantity, they do it right here while you wait.
Here we have the home-made chicharron that they make fresh everyday at the deli. It's crispy and delicious and you should definitely come down and give it a try.
And if you're hungry for lunch, the Supermercado has everything that you could possibly want, from barbequed beef to chicken guisado, to rice and tamales, all of it, a plate for five dollars.
Here we are in the meat section where they're cutting fresh meat to be made for fajitas. As you can see they're making them fresh cut right now as we speak. Just like they do with all their meat here at the Bymore Supermercado.
Here we have chicken that is fresh from Minnesota, like all of the meat products here at Bymore Supermercado, everything is locally purchased to give Minnesotans some more business and to keep it local and just to make sure everthing is nice and fresh.
Here we are at the checkout area and as you can see, they have all the name brand goods that you could look for like Bimbo and Marinela. Everything that you would see in a typical Latin American country.
