I explain how I setup and use my mixer to route my audio signals into my computer, using my interface. Hope this helps everyone who asked how I do it.

  • So many porn references!

  • I would personally go to the electronics hardware store and get two mono male jacks, screened stereo cable and two phono jacks and make me the cable I need if they don't already have it in the store... also, man, the male-to-male adapter you used there is mono ... you're short circuiting the other channel ...

  • this was very very very helpfull ive been all day trying to install my mixer and u helped me alot, now i just have one question, my mixer is also an interface and it has a midi to usb output, when I install it on my adobe audition software it starts recording but it stays silent, what can I do? i can hear me talking on the mic and i can hear the mix on my headphones but i cant make it appear in the recording

  • if i connect the mixer to my computer will it still work good?

  • First step...Don't buy a Behringer. :P

  • Very helpful - thank you

  • Hate to break it to you chief but that 1/4 male to male adapter you used is MONO. You just grounded your left to your right, neither the mixer or your interface like that. It's much easier to use a 1/4 to rca y adapter. Or 1/4 to rca plugs then regular stereo rca cables.

  • Can't you Shortcut Mixer to computer without Audio interface(via USB)?

would there be any difference if you use USB or microphone jack (3.5mm) to connect your mixer to computer ?

  • i am a drummer, I have a Peavey RQ 200 and i have no clue how to use it to mic my drums....i do not have one of those little red AV boxes like you have but i do have a Horizon straightline Passive direct box and another little tiny box that i think might be active im not sure but PLEASE HALP!

  • will i be able to plug an amps headphone jack into this so i can already have those effects that i have saved on it?
