Futrell Autowerks 10/29 Racing MK6 GTI Racing Footage + Halloween Bonus

Final Passes for the 2010 season, only had time for three runs all consistent 12.6-12.8 as we continue to dial in our WOT box settings and launch techniques. Temps were low 50Fs, the fog was a nice bonus. Be sure and check out Combat Weeman's run at the end!

At what ignition cut timing do you have your WOT box ? Is it on AUTO or something like 225-250ms ?

The GTI is a FWD car, and haver lower pressure in the tires allows the tires to grip better and create more friction than if they were inflated. That combined with the massive amount of power being put down to the front wheels alone you need as much grip as possible. Otherwise he would sit there spinning his tires.

The suspension is probably the cause the for the lowered front end. I don't know if that has any bearing on putting the power to the wheels (It may in a drag race!)
