My 86 Cutlass w/a built Olds 350, LT headers, no cats, X-pipe, 2.5" custom mandrel pipes with Aerochambers dumped. Car is cold and almost out of gas, hence the popping when I roll on the throttle. Also have a bad 2nd gear that slips really bad. New trans coming soon!!

  • im about to swap my 307 for a 350 besides the mounts engine and trans. wut else has to be swapped mines a 85

  • @mramazing9000 Swap for an Olds 350 or SBC 350?

  • @oldschoolmobile sbc 350 cant find a reasonable olds 350 around here

  • @mramazing9000 Well if you're gonna go with a Chevy, at least go with a carbed 5.3L. 460hp with just cam/headers and carbed intake rocks!

  • oh alright man thanks. and also i want my car to sound loud and mean if you know what im saying so what exhaust system do you suggest i get and how much you think it will be?

  • @dylanzwilliams If you want it to be just loud and mean sounding, then LT headers with an x-pipe and Flowmaster Super 44's are gonna be the ticket. if you're looking for power to go with the sound, then Aerochambers like what I use are the ticket. if you can stand to have it a bit milder, then Magnaflows will perform the best hands down. My Cutlass ran hardest with Magnaflows but the wife said they were too quiet......go figure!!

  • @oldschoolmobile Magnaflow straight-through design perforated mufflers make a joke out of NoFlowMasters.

  • @dylanzwilliams 84 cutlas would have come with an Olds 307 or a 3.8L buick v6 from the factory. Vin code Y for the olds engine. It will likely have 7A heads and a 200-4R overdrive trans... no power but lots of durability and over 20mpg if its in good repair. Research the CCC or C3 carburetor too because chances are if its an American model it has this. btw, no such think as a BB 350, just fyi... and yes i know this is a mad old comment

  • @BrandonT98 305s are not found in Oldsmobile products normally but ive read that models sold in canada could come w/ the chevy engine. 403 olds engine is blue. toro super rocket was blue. total ez way to tel an oldsmobile v8 from a chevy or buick v8 for a lay-man is simple. An olds engine has the oil fill on the front of the engine. The chevy engine is not as large and has an oil filler in the rocker cover. A buick V8 has the distributor on the front

  • @oldschoolmobile several 350 and 330 olds engines on Craigslist within 200 miles of me... I cant imagine other parts of the country are so different

  • IM GOING FROM A OLDS 307 ROLLER TO A OLDS 350,, I LIKE THIS VIDEOS
