@alienevolvedpart3 haha your a funny guy. your assumption that i don't know what im doing is hilarious.
i sent it back to M-audio and it had a broken preamp. they kindly sent me a brand new one and its been working fine ever since.

Does it work with Logic? Cause I plugged the firewire port in and got nothing.

In OSX the NRV10 displays its "10" outputs as separate devices, this is logical as it means you can send different programs to different channels (by choosing a different device) however, if I send superior drummer 2 (in toontrack solo or logic 9) to outputs 7/8, and then try to send music to 5/6, there is some kind of problem and the result is a distorted mess!! They are fine individually, no problem with gain it just garbles in a horrible digital way?! no issue with 'built in output'.....!

you can't send 9/10 out of the main mix, only out of the control room or headphone outputs, this is irritating because only the main mix outputs are balanced xlr,

@justind507 no, the mixer is a seperate analog mixer that controls the signals in and out of the interface, it does NOT send any midi whatsoever

@HowAudioTV can you control the faders in the daw?

Can I use with the traktor dj?? I can listen in one channel something i play in the computer like a dj mixer?!?

I have one of these mixers. A few of the sliders and inputs developed a bit of crackle and noise after about 18 months (after warranty expired). I only use it at home on occasion in a smoke free and low humidity environment.
So it seems maybe a got a not so good mixer out of that batch or M-Audio need to provide a little more longevity. So next time I will likely buy another brand.
Other than that, sound quality is very clean and I would recommend it.
