CHAPTER 12:
On her break at work Allison went to her employee locker and grabbed her purse to check her phone for messages. When she reached in she pulled out the sterling silver bracelet that had been in the box in her drawer. She sat down on the bench and looked at it for a while before putting it on her wrist. She ran her fingers over the engraving 'forever'
She shook her head, trying to avoid the tears that were threatening to spill and reached in her purse again, this time finding her phone.
"4 new text messages?" she said out loud and opened the phone to see who they were from.

Kevin: Hey, how is your day gong?
Allison: It's okay, I've been at work all morning.

Joe: Dude, I almost fell down the bus stairs and I thought of you!
Allison: Haha nice one Joe. Next time I say Awkward I'll think of you

Kelly: Hey girly! Do you want to have dinner tonight after you get off work?
Allison: Ugh, can't family dinner tonight :/

Nick: Hey do you know if Jenn is mad at me?
Allison: I don't think so, why?
Nick: She stopped responding to my texts.
Allison: She probably just left her phone in her room, she does that a lot. I gotta get back to work though.
Nick: Alright, thanks.

After she had responded to everyone, she waited a little to see if anyone other than Nick would text back. When no one did she put her phone and purse away back in her locker. She went back to finish her day at work.

Kelly was playing guitar hero by herself in the basement when her phone started ringing. She paused the game and picked it up of the desk.
"Yello??" she said.
"Hey Kelly what are you up to?" Kevin asked.
"Playing some guitar hero."
"By yourself?"
"Yeah, how do you think I got so good at it..."
"Haha I guess the practice makes perfect."
"Indeed it does. So what are you up."
"Waiting for Joe, he's late for the sound check cause he went to go find food."
"Why does that not surprise me?" she asked laughing.
"Yeah cause its Joe."
Kelly could hear Joe in the background "Shut-up Kevin! Who are you talking to? Helloooooo who iissss thissssss?????"
"Joe give me the phone back!!" Kevin yelled and Kelly laughed harder.
"Who are you?" Joe asked into the phone.
"Its Kelly you dummy. Give Kevin his phone back."
"Kelly!!!! I need to call you later about that thing you asked me earlier... I'll call you after the sound check okay?"
"Which was delayed because of you!" Nick yelled and Kelly laughed again as Kevin & Joe wrestled for the phone.
"Okay Kelly we gotta go."Kevin said, obviously winning his phone back.
"Bye Kelly!" Joe yelled.
"Byeeeeeeee!" Nick yelled.
"Haha bye guys." Kelly said and hung up smiling.
The phone call had made her day so much better and she went back to playing her guitar hero when she heard Jenn scream from upstairs.

((Ohhhhhh snap!! Why was Jenn screaming? What did Kelly ask Joe!? What's the deal with Allison's bracelet? I guess we'll have to find out...))
