This week, Steven Tepp, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at the U.S. Chamber, explains how these rogue sites impact the health of our economy and what SOPA and PROTECT IP can do about it.
I'll save you time. What does Steve Tepp say in the video? 1. He fear-mongers about foreign rouge threats which dehumanize the ideas and perspectives of non-American people. 2. He props up "the economy" and "job creation" as the *key* issues facing us today. Here's my question for you internet browser: what is most important freedom or security? That's what this issue is about and if you agree with Tepp these bills could mean the end of freedom on the internet.
Thanks for mentioning the safeguards. Because there IS a law called "fair use".
I looked at your video for the sake of fairness. As a man once said: "There are three sides to every story--yours, mine, and the facts."
Still, I believe that it IS possible to stop piracy without sacrificing free speech. The creators of Serious Sam made an example--ask me for more info.
But again, thanks for sharing the pro side of the story.
