REM - Texarkana

Lyrics:

20,000 miles to an oasis
20,000 years will I burn
20,000 chances I wasted
Waiting for the moment to turn
I would give my life to find it
I would give it all
Catch me if I fall

Walking through the woods I have faced it
Looking for something to learn
30,000 thoughts have replaced it,
Never in my time to return
I would give my life to find it
I would give it all
Catch me if I fall

All alone
Waiting to fall

40,000 stars in the evening
Look at them fall from the sky
40,000 reasons for living
40,000 tears in your eye

I would give my life to find it
I would give it all
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall
Catch me if I fall

  • @JMarley1983 Me too! haha

  • When Out of Time came out in the early '90's it totally changed my music taste forever to alternative rock.It made me realize how silly the music of the '80's was.REM along with Nirvana and Pearl Jam showed me artists can put out music that can be intelligent and mainstream.Love REM and Out Of Time.

  • Sounds even more like The Moody Blues than "Journey to the Center of your Mind." (If you don't know that one, listen to it, and be surprised who did it.)

  • Michka Assayas affirmed in the encyclopedy of rock that Out Of Time (1991) was an album deprived of intensity! How wrong he was when you listen to this powerful song!

  • love this!!! i never knew the name

  • @Linedash No worries friend...

  • I always thought this song sounded a little bit like The Moody Blues, believe it or not.

  • thnx for the awsome posts :)

  • @bassmanjoe What you reckon to Me In Honey??

  • How good a singer is Mike Mills? Brilliant band all round....One of the best..if not the best..
