Capiztahan 2009 Panay Bukidnon Tribe Cultural Presentation

Panay Bukidnon is an indigenous tribe located in the mountainous/upland area of Tapaz, Capiz (Nawayan) and Calinog, Iloilo. Thier cultural dance called "Binanog" is patterned/imitates the courtship style of a bird named "Banog" or "Uwak" while a "Binukot" or kept maidens chants . "Binukot" masters the Panay Bukidnon traditional hand embroidery called "Panubok". A Binanog dance was performed by Panay Bukidnons during the Capiztahan 2009 - Fiesta Capiznon held at Capiz Gym, April 13, 2009.
