I used to work with both Shindaiwa and Stihl blowers AND trimmers. Shindaiwas kick ass on both, specially the blowers are much more powerful.

with mom and dad right?

I'm buying one, and I live in Orinda.

Explain to me why you think any of this is good?
Can't you see the dust and crap getting blown up. What about the noise crap and crude.
This is just plain stupid.

wow this is abit late but ya said you use the machines for 4-5 hours everyday? is that nonstop or where you turn them on and then off give them a break for a lil bit and then again with the heavy work? also if you wanted lil than i believe echo is the best way to go. however if they are old and they start first time pull than you got me there!

anyone who really knew what they were talking about would say that you should get the best machine for the job that you want to do.

At first, i am german too, but I do my nest to wrote in english:
I do landscaping work as second job after my daytime job. I work together with a good friend of mine. He is a Stihl fanatic, nothing more to say. I am using Husky products. Some examples: BR600/180BT , MS441/576XP, FS550/355Fx. We are working side by side so i can see the (nearly none existent) differences. The only major thing I recognise is: We both are satisfied with our products and have fun. And thats important! Period. Chris

Your right, this kid dosent know what he's talking about.
looking into a shindaiwa trimmer, with the cultivator attachment, for my home garden. $575 total seems like alot. how good are these trimmers?

Strimmers are excellent.
in my opinion the cultivator attachment is a waste of time on ANY machine,Stihl etc etc.. A Mantis is the best option for a lightweight tiller.
The cultivator attachment is only of any use in very soft already cultivated soil.trying to dig firm ground is pointless. hope that helps.brian

Nein! ich glaube das Sie haben niemals mit Shindaiwa gearbeitet. Stihl ist Ok aber Shindaiwa blast viel starker ,dafur kann man schneller und besser Arbeiten.
