First of five songs today. This request is from Maxishot2000. Apparently, this is the battle theme when you're in town. I don't know for sure, though. Regardless, enjoy.

  • @KodokuSange Yes, since ten year olds trapping deadly animal-like creatures in cupcake-sized capsules and forcing them to fight each other is perfect for children compared to diplomacy with mythological creatures that can teach people something about religions and myths.

  • This song is why i like to stay in the town areas.

  • @TornZero In SMT, to have demons join you, you have to give them all your FUCKING Macca and MAG and 5-litres of your blood.

In Pokemon, you have Monsters join you by beating them up and enclosing them in small tennis-ball-sized capsules.

Then DemiKids came along and ripped off Pokemon like it did with SMT - but did it right.

Somehow, I feel kinda sorry for Nintendo. I mean, they got their ass kicked and aren't taking their repetetive franchises anywhere good. *Cough* Other M *Cough*

  • I fucking love Chiaki...

  • I can imagine in Ikebukuro

    HEY A BEAD CHAIN

    WHAT

    MINE

    NO MINE

comes Thor and bam ZIODYNE EVERYWHERE

  • @MrChenrezi I only hear about Pokémon teaching people about evolution (when it's really more like metamorphosis) and that violence gets you anywhere.

Now, after Googling it (just "pokemon" and "satan"), I actually see plenty. o_o

  • @TornZero Thing is, every time I hear about some fundamentalist group making noise about Pokemon converting children to Satanism, I think, "Thank god they don't know about SMT..."

  • Shoji Meguro FTW!

  • @Sora7898teh2nd No, Ho-Oh is based on a Chinese mythological creature named Feng Huang. How do I know that? Because there was a demon in SMT : Imagine Online named Houou, and its name was later changed to Feng Huang. (Most likely to avoid a lawsuit.)

  • @Sora7898teh2nd From what I've heard, Magikarp/Gyarados was based on an old Chinese legend as well.

  • @BluntmanEXE Ironically enough, the SMT series began long before Pokemon.

  • @KodokuSange Pokemon's a separate entity entirely. Hell, SMT: Devil Children was made as an attempt to CASH IN on the Pokemon craze.
