The 1920s was the peak of the player piano's popularity. Here we have a great rendition of "The Charleston" Issued as QRS 3143 and played by the song's composer James P. Johnson in 1924. Originally from the Broadway musical "Runnin' Wild", "The Charleston" triggered the 1920s biggest dance craze and became a staple for the player piano.
