Boston Cop Apologizes For Calling Gates "Jungle Monkey"

Boston police officer Justin Barrett issues an apology for writing a letter referring to Professor Henry Louis Gates as a "jungle monkey."

"I'm sorry that I wrote that," Barrett said. "I regret that I used such words." He adds: "I am not a racist."

But despite the evidence, his attorney, Peter Marano, adds: "Justin Barrett didn't call Henry Gates a jungle monkey."
