@justech Theater companies will always have projection technicians at the corporate level, which that pays like between $20 - $25 hourly. Those are the people who service and repair the projectors, now with digital its more IT based than mechanical. They work from home, being on-call 24/7 365 days. In charge of a region.
@justech yup! That is what projecting 35mm film is like, well different theater companies have different kinds of projectors. Those projectors were garbage, old. Now its all digital with a main server that controls all of the digital projectors. All the BIG theaters soon enough won't have or use 35mm film. Because its cheaper to receive a film on a hard drive instead of a boxed film print and not to mention no staff needed in a projection booth. Even though the job was minimum wage.
